Microhandling Announces New CEO

   Microhandling Handhabungsgeraete GmbH, a leading global designer, manufacturer and supp-lier of positioning and handling systems to the semiconductor industry, has strengthened its executive team by appointing Wilfried Mayr (45) as new CEO, effective March 1, 2007. Working alongside longtime CEO and co-founder Dr. Hel-muth Heigl who is focusing on product design
and development, Wilfried Mayr is responsible for production, quality assurance, materials management, accounting/finance, IT, HR, sales and marketing. Mayr has more than 20 years
of senior leadership experience at international high-tech corporations such as Raychem, Tyco Electronics, and most recently Fast Opticom AG.

   At first, the new Microhandling CEO intends to focus on extending the company's global sales network. According to Mayr, the company will additionally have to put emphasis on further optimizing the supply-chain efficiency as key to reduce costs and lead times, thus ensuring future competitiveness. For this reason, Microhandling has already appointed a new Supply Chain Ma-nager, Guido Schmidt, who has also joined the company this month bringing extensive expe-rience and expertise in Global Sourcing.

   Previous to Microhandling, Wilfried Mayr was General Manager of Fast Opticom AG, a global supplier of turnkey fiber optic network solutions. Prior to that, he spent many years at Raychem, where he held several senior level executive po-sitions including Technical Director and Director Sales & Marketing. Mayr began his business career at Deutsche Telekom after gaining his Diploma in Communications Engineering.

Microhandling Appoints New Technical
Support Manager

Following a diploma in Production Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Rosenheim, Mr. Maier started his career with Microhandling in January 2004 and has been working as a Design & Development Engineer since.

Microhandling announces record first quarter 2006

During the first quarter of fiscal year 2006,
Microhandling continued to have an extremely strong performance in terms of both revenue and profitability.

Microhandling starts shipping its new Universal Manipulator MP-4

Microhandling announced today that it has started shipping the first devices of its MP-4 manipulator, the second member of the new Universal Test Head Manipulator family.

Microhandling successfully passed the DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 re-certification audit

The Certification Body of TUV Management Service GmbH certified again that MICRO-HANDLING Handhabungsgeraete GmbH has established and applies a Quality System for Design, Manufacturing and Distribution of Test Head Manipulators and Test Handlers for the Semiconductor Industry.

A re-certification audit was successfully performed and proof has been furnished that the requirements according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 are fulfilled.

The certificate is valid until December 2008. Certificate Registration No. 12 100 18135 TMS.

Microhandling celebrates 20 years of excellence in providing high performance

to the semiconductor industry.

Since it opened for business in 1985, the company has achieved outstanding growth over the years.
